Building Connections and Creating Opportunities at ArcWorks

When Tony Harris joined the ArcWorks team at The Arc of Monroe as a Manufacturing Sales Representative, he brought with him over 25 years of experience in commercial printing, packaging, and information technology. With a strong background in sales, Tony knew his ability to connect with businesses and build relationships would be an asset to ArcWorks’ growing contract manufacturing and packaging services.
“I already know people in these industries, which makes it a little easier to create sales opportunities,” Tony shared. “I’ve used long-standing connections and I’m talking to people I’ve known for 20-plus years.”
Since joining ArcWorks, Tony has helped expand partnerships with companies seeking custom kit packing, hand assembly, ISO 7 clean room packaging, and point-of-purchase display services. Many of these opportunities have come not only through his professional network but also through referrals and recommendations from the ArcWorks team.
“One recent opportunity came from an internal team member,” Tony explained. “Their family member suggested I reach out to a company they work for. We did, and it resulted in a new project. It’s really powerful when the people we work with help bring new business in.”
Driving Growth and Team Success
Bringing in new business is never easy, but Tony and his colleagues have hit the ground running.
We knew we had room to grow and create a greater awareness of ArcWorks in diverse markets. Working with our marketing department, we focused on our strengths which positioned us to grow in current and new industries. We are already seeing success with the changes we’ve made.
ArcWorks’ flexible contract manufacturing services help businesses meet demand while ensuring high-quality results. From POP display builds and retail packaging to medical and industrial clean room assembly, ArcWorks has positioned itself as a reliable partner for companies across many industries.
Inclusion at the Core
For Tony, one of the most rewarding parts of working at ArcWorks is the opportunity to engage with the people the organization supports.
“You can tell how excited the production team is when new projects come in. One person made a special effort to thank me for bringing in a new project – they were genuinely excited for a new challenge. I told them it’s truly a team effort. It’s the most rewarding piece of coming to work.”
