Meet the Management – Josh Cheeseman

Improving Processes Behind the Scenes 

At ArcWorks, continuous improvement is more than a goal—it’s how we deliver reliable, high-quality service to our customers. Over six years ago, the organization began an effort to streamline warehouse product organization. While the initiative paused during the COVID pandemic, it was revived two years ago under the leadership of Josh Cheeseman, our Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. 

Since joining ArcWorks, Josh has led the creation and implementation of a comprehensive barcoding system—one of his most impactful accomplishments to date. His work has strengthened inventory accuracy, improved workflow efficiency, and enhanced communication from order intake through final delivery.  

Josh brings a strong background in logistics and warehouse operations, previously working in overnight management at Wegmans before transitioning to a day-shift role that aligned with his career goals. Today, he oversees everything that comes in and out of the ArcWorks warehouse, ensuring accurate counts, efficient movement of goods, and seamless system management. 

“When I first started, I quickly realized that there were a lot of user errors in our system, and those needed to be fixed before going live with our new software” he said. “I primarily handled all of the implementation, the communication with the software company, and the support company as well, so it was a lot of work to do, especially with system clean up and barcoding to get us to where we are now.” 

Beyond operations, Josh plays a critical role in ensuring customers experience strong, consistent communication—from the first sales conversation to final fulfillment. His focus on process improvement helps ArcWorks deliver dependable timelines, clear updates, and high customer satisfaction. “The one thing that is huge for me,” Josh said, “is to have better communication with contacts, so we can build stronger business relationships.” 

“I take pride in being able to provide work to the people we support and to our assembly operators, making sure that everyone stays busy and that we are able to fulfill customer needs.”  

Through his leadership and dedication, Josh continues to strengthen the behind-the-scenes operations that power ArcWorks—helping us serve our customers better, scale with confidence, and build long-term partnerships.
