Leading the Floor: Rob Wallner and the Growth of ArcWorks
Nearly seven years ago, Rob Wallner joined the ArcWorks team as a Production Control Coordinator. Since that time, he has progressed steadily through the organization and now serves as Director of Operations. With a strong background in production and warehouse management—both prior to and during his time at ArcWorks—Rob proved to be a natural fit for the role.
As Director of Operations, Rob oversees all aspects of the production floor. His responsibilities include coordinating production flow, managing floor layout and staffing, communicating directly with customers about active jobs, and working closely with the team to ensure operations run efficiently. He describes his role as highly hands-on, often requiring quick decisions and constant coordination to keep production moving and resolve challenges as they arise.
During Rob’s tenure, ArcWorks has experienced substantial growth and transformation. What was once heavily reliant on a limited customer base, has now developed into much more diversity, supporting a wide range of partnerships across multiple industries.
Rob also played a key role in implementing a new barcoding system last year, which has helped streamline warehouse procedures, improve inventory accuracy, and enhance communication with customers. These operational improvements have supported the organization’s continued expansion while allowing the production team to work more efficiently.
Despite the growth, Rob credits the success of ArcWorks to the people. He consistently highlights the strong morale and teamwork within the organization, noting that our staff take pride in their work and are committed to helping the business succeed. From the front office to the production floor, the positive culture has remained a defining strength as the company continues to evolve.
Reflecting on how the organization has developed over time, Rob notes that ArcWorks has matured into a stronger, more structured operation while still maintaining its mission and purpose. With improved systems, a dedicated leadership team, and continued growth in partnerships, ArcWorks is well positioned to keep expanding while creating meaningful opportunities for the people it supports.
