For the last four years, Melissa Mayo has been one of the first points of interaction for customers interested in working with ArcWorks. As the Business Development Manager, she has been an integral part of the customer experience and our growth as a company.

Prior to her time at ArcWorks, Melissa began her career in purchasing and manufacturing, followed by more than 30 years in sales and marketing. Her wealth of knowledge and experience in the field provides customers at ArcWorks top tier service and insight. Meeting with prospective clients and forming new partnerships is a big part of Melissa’s job at ArcWorks, but she is always thinking about forming the right partnerships. Melissa regularly meets with Community Prevocational Specialists who support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to determine what kind of work is going to best help them achieve their goals. This helps foster a more inclusive workplace and brings greater opportunities for staff to thrive at ArcWorks.

“I love being able to work with the people we support,” Melissa said. “I feel that I’m giving back to the community, and I love having purpose.”
